U2 has always been an amazing live band so
the band always has their concerts to back up
their albums. Concert dates for the band's
upcoming tour for No Line On The
Horizon have been announced.
U2 concerts will
hit Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago,
Philadelphia, New York , New Jersey
and a host of other cities as part of a city
blitzkrieg Bono and the boys are doing.
As part of the promotion to gin up interest
in the new CD no line on
the horizon the band's 12th - U2 performed
each night during launch week on "The Late Show
With David Letterman," and also gigged outside
Fordham University.
The Irish rock legends are set to tour America
in May and June and then cross the Atlantic for
a couple of months in Europe before returning
back to the states for more dates in late
summer/early fall. No Line On The
Horizon is already gearing up to be
huge and coupled with the u2 concerts across America and
Europe, it looks like world domination.
U2 Concerts pull
in the fans...
As one of the most popular bands on the
planet, tickets are sure to be scarce for the
no line on the horizon
tour. If you've never seen them live, it is an
experience that leaves you inspired. With hits
such as 'With or Without You,' 'Elevation,'
'Where the Streets Have No Name,' 'Bad,'
'Beautiful Day' and 'Pride,' even the most
unfamiliar with U2's canon will find something
to sing along to.
No Line On The Horizon is
another innovation, with The Edge's itchy
guitar, Adam Clayton's rolling bass lines and
Larry Mullen Jr.'s thumping snare-snapping
efficiency.
One of the few things that is clear: If
given an opportunity, U2 is a live show
requirement. Whether a fan or not, it is a
commanding performance, inspirational and
fundamental. It makes believers out of us
all.
